I work in the lightning rod district

The WAMU Tower is across the street from my building. Our walls shook when the thunder rolled after this strike.

    News agencies are not allowed to doctor their images, so this actually happened and was captured by the Columbia Tower weather cam.
    Pretty amazing. I saw this flash reflected in another building, and the walls literally shook at the thunder that followed the flash.

  6. Thank goodness for tall, conductive, grounded buildings.
