heeling, keeling, and squealing.

Up at dawn, Rumrunner set sail shortly after ssven.
Wind picked up not too long after we set off, and was pretty good for the rest of the morning.
Afternoon gusts blew. Close reached, the boat heeled, the keel keeled, and we squealed.
I have never felt a more proficient sailor than I did today.
Off to wash the spray off me, then off to Seder with my family.
Mmmm…Sephardic pesach food…so spicy.
Pesach is the celebration of freedom. I feel as though I have embraced liberty today, with the window in the water and the tiller in my hand.
